Department of History

Our college is one of the premier Educational Institutions established by National Education Society(R),Shivamogga in the year 1965. Foundation stone for the college building was laid by Sri Lalbahadur Shastri , former Prime Minister of our country. History Department was established with the inception of our college. Department is dissimilating the knowledge about the Indian History, Culture, Heritage etc., along with World History with special reference to Europe and Asian Continent among the student community.
