Department of Sociology
Amongst the departments which were established during the year 1965, department of Sociology is one of them. Initially department started with limited students for sociology as their optional in undergraduate programme. Now it has a vast group of alumni who are pursuing their higher studies and research in universities. Now the department has more than 400 students with fair results. Departmental activities are being performed successfully by two eminent dynamic full time faculties. The department periodically conducts workshops and guest lecturers in order to aware the students about current updates in Sociology.
